A gorgeous morning in the hills with Lynda Coffey and her gorgeous girls, my time there reminded me so much of my childhood, growing up on our goat farm, we had Saanen milking goats just like these beautiful girls, Lynda let me milk Embers (one of her goats) I haven’t milked a goat for 16 years! I think it’s good to visit our childhood once in a while, a way to keep us young.

inI ordered some “Cambridge Rival” strawberry plants from Diggers Club today, on the diggers website it said “The flavour is both sweet and intensely rich and lingers on the palate like a fine wine. Extremely fragrant” – sounds pretty good to me! So perhaps in a season or two I might be able to make a delectable treat for my friends, home grown sweet and intensely rich strawberries covered in dark chocolate made with love!
Mmmm the thought of them tastes good!
